Add public holidays and export events to a calendar app
Choose regional public holidays, check imported dates, and understand the difference between a printable PDF and an iCal calendar export.
Choose your country and region
Public holidays can vary within a country. Choose the country and, where available, the state or region that matches your plans. Check the selected year before adding holidays, especially when preparing next year's calendar.
A country being available in the selector does not guarantee complete holiday coverage for every year or region. KalendarHub uses cached and third-party holiday information, with fallbacks where available. Treat the result as a planning aid and check important dates against the relevant official government calendar.
Check observed dates and add local details
A holiday's calendar date and its observed day off can differ. Regional rules may also change. Review the imported event list for missing dates or duplicates before printing or exporting.
School terms, employer shutdowns, and local events are not the same as public holidays. Add them manually using the appropriate event type and date range. If a holiday lookup fails, you can still add an event yourself.
Choose PDF for printing or iCal for a calendar app
A PDF preserves your chosen visual layout for printing and sharing. An iCal file, with the .ics extension, contains event information that supported calendar apps can import. It does not carry over the website's colours, page layout, or printable design in the same way as a PDF.
Add at least one event before using Export to calendar app. Download the .ics file, then use your calendar app's import or open-file option. The exact steps depend on your device and app. Review the destination calendar before confirming the import.
An import is a copy, not an ongoing connection
The exported file is a snapshot. Later edits in KalendarHub do not automatically update events you already imported. Importing the same file repeatedly may create duplicates, so consider testing in a separate calendar first.
Reminder behaviour depends on your calendar app and its notification settings. Check a sample event after import rather than assuming an alert will appear. Keep your downloaded file if you need a copy: KalendarHub's download links are temporary.
